Dollar Climbs Further Versus Most Majors After U.S. Consumer Sentiment Index

(RTTNews) - Following the release of the University of Michigan's final U.S. consumer sentiment index for May at 10 am ET Friday, the greenback traded mixed against the other major currencies. While the greenback changed little against the pound, it climbed further against the yen, euro and the franc.

The greenback was trading at 1.1143 against the euro, 109.76 against the yen, 0.9921 against the franc and 1.4638 against the pound around 10:02 am ET.
