Dollar Rises After U.S. Jobless Claims Data

(RTTNews) - Following the release of U.S. weekly jobless claims for week ended April 12 at 8:30 am ET Thursday, the greenback advanced against other major currencies.
The greenback was trading at 1.3847 against the euro, 0.8797 against the franc, 102.24 against the yen and 1.6805 against the pound around 8:35 am ET.
