for providing exceptional customer service, UPMC Health Plan was
named a Gold Stevie Award Winner in the Contact Center of the Year
category at the 9th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales and
Customer Service.
The Stevie Awards, the world's premier business awards, were
created in 2002 to honor and generate recognition of the
achievements and positive contributions of organizations and
professionals worldwide. The awards were presented to honorees
during a gala banquet at the Bellagio in Las Vegas on February
27, 2015.
In addition to the Gold Award for the Member Services
Department, Anne Palmerine,
Associate Vice President of Customer Engagement and Enrollment
Services for UPMC Health Plan, was named a Silver Stevie Award
Winner in the Contact Center Leader of the Year category.

This year's Stevie Awards competition evaluated more than 1,900
nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every
industry. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 139
worldwide professionals, acting as preliminary judges.
UPMC Health Plan won the 2015 Gold Stevie in the category,
"Contact Center of the Year (All Other Industries)." Silver winners
in that category included Marriott International and Optum Rx.
Winners from previous years in that category include Delta Air
Lines and GoDaddy.com.
UPMC Health Plan has won several national honors in recent
years, including call center certification from J.D. Power and
Associates and the Global Call Center of the Year in the large call
center category awarded by the International Customer Management
Institute in 2012.
