Shaikha recently participated in The International Mikulas Cup in Budapest, Hungary in December 2014 and took the Silver Medal.  It's her dream to compete one day in the Olympic Games representing the UAE.

Amina previously won Gold for her hoop routine at the Spring Fling in Columbus, Ohio in March 2014. Her goal is to become a Rhythmic Gymnastics coach, and to help other UAE women compete internationally.

Rhythmic Gymnastics combines the grace of ballet with the athleticism of gymnastics.  Athletes engage in intense strength and ballet training. Various apparatus such as hoop, ball, rope, ribbon, and clubs can be used in the routines that are set to music.
