IBM REPORTS ANOTHER REVENUE DECLINE
International Business Machines reported a 12% decrease in
revenue to $19.59 billion--the company's 12th straight quarter of
year-over-year declines--hurt by the stronger U.S. dollar and
weakness in its hardware business.
GE IN TALKS TO SELL U.S. COMMERCIAL LENDING BUSINESS
General Electric is said to be in talks to sell its biggest
lending operation--a $74 billion unit that makes loans to midsize

Morgan Stanley's 1Q profit rose 59% to $2.39 billion as it

EU TO FILE ANTITRUST CHARGES AGAINST GAZPROM
The European Union's competition regulator plans to file formal
antitrust charges against Russia's state-owned gas company Gazprom,
a person familiar with the matter said, a step set to escalate the
standoff between Europe and Moscow.

Greece's government issued a decree requiring public bodies such
