                       NOTICE OF CHANGE OF INTERESTS OF

                            SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER

Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) ("Base" or the "Company") wishes to
advise that it has received notification from substantial shareholder, Taurus
SM Holdings Pty Limited, advising that it currently holds an interest in
94,482,647 ordinary shares in Base representing 16.8% of the Company's issued
share capital, following the on market net acquisition of 11,038,359 ordinary
shares during the period 8 April 2015 to 22 April 2015 at prices between A$0.12
and A$0.14 per ordinary share, since its last notification on 1 April 2015.
