Trading on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) which
ended today was ended down in most of the leading share
indices;
Continued offerings in the bond market
Record turnover in weekly options on the TA-25
index
TA-25
The TA-25 index decreased 0.4% over the last week, and
increased 13.6% since the beginning of the year, after an
increase of 10.2% for the whole of 2014.

TA-100
The TA-100 index decreased 0.8% over the last
week, and increased 11.1% since the beginning of the year,
after an increase of 6.7% for the whole of 2014.
TA Oil & Gas
The TA Oil & Gas
Index decreased 4.9% over the week, and increased
18.0% since the beginning of the year, after a decrease of
20.1% in 2014.
Corporate Bonds
This week three companies raised US$ 120 million in bond
offerings to the public: Menora Mivtachim and Adgar
raised US$ 66 million and
US$ 35 million, respectively, and
Kardan Vehicle raised US$ 19
million in a public offering of commercial paper.
Since the beginning of the year the business sector raised
US$ 8.4 billion through bonds to the
public and institutional investors on the TASE, these including
US$ 8.1 billion through bonds to the
public.
Government Bonds
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) did not make any bond offerings
this week listed on the TASE.
In the first half of the year, the MoF raised a total of
US$ 5.3 billion in bond offerings on
the TASE, compared with US$ 14.5
billion for the whole of 2014.
Record turnover in weekly options on the TA-25
index
The trading turnover in weekly options on the TA-25 index,
launched in July 2013, reached a
record high of 102,665 units on July 1,
2015.
This turnover constituted 48% of the turnover in options on the
TA-25 index.
