The Australian dollar recovered from its recent lows against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.

The Australian dollar rose to a 4-day high of 90.43 against the yen, from an early near 3-week low of 89.33.

Against the U.S. dollar, the euro and the NZ dollar, the aussie advanced to 0.7319, 1.5130 and 1.0998 from an early 6-year low of 0.7256, nearly a 7-1/2-month low of 1.5276 and more than a 1-1/2-month low of 1.0949, respectively.

Moving away from an early high of 0.9461 against the Canadian dollar, the aussie climbed to a 4-day high of 0.9523.

If the aussie extends uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 92.30 against the yen, 0.74 against the greenback, 1.48 against the euro, 1.12 against the kiwi and 0.96 against the loonie.
