Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Thursday 
 
Thus far Thursday, negotiated cash trade was light to moderate in the Texas Panhandle 
with trade and demand moderate in Kansas. Compared to Wednesday in the Texas 
Panhandle live sales sold 1.00 lower, with live sales in Kansas compared to last week 
3.00 lower with the bulk of sales in both regions at 133.00. In Nebraska trade and 
demand were moderate. Compared to last week, dressed sales sold 4.00 lower at 206.00. 
For the week, live sales have sold 1.00-2.00 lower from 129.00-134.00. In Colorado 
trade was light on light to moderate demand with a few live sales ranging from 
129.50-134.00. In the Western Cornbelt trade and demand was light to moderate. 
Compared to last week, dressed sales sold mostly 4.00 lower from 205.00-206.00 with 
live sales for the week, mostly 1.00-2.00 lower from 129.50-130.00.
