WARSAW--Poland's statistics office Friday said consumer prices
fell 0.7% in annual terms in January, which was more than
expected.
Analysts had expected a decline of 0.5% in the consumer price
index. Prices fell 0.4% from December.
The National Bank of Poland has an inflation target of 2.5%,
which it hasn't hit since late 2012.
