Loonie Off Lows Vs Most Majors Ahead Of Canada Retail Sales, Inflation Reports

Statistics Canada releases Canada retail sales for May and
consumer price inflation data for June at 8:30 am ET Friday. The
inflation is forecast to slow to 0.1 percent on a seasonally
adjusted month basis, from 0.4 percent growth in May.
The loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts ahead of
the data. While the loonie rebounded from early lows against the
yen, greenback and the euro, it held steady against the aussie.
The loonie was worth 1.4433 against the euro, 0.9802 against the
aussie, 81.00 against the yen and 1.3100 against the greenback as
of 8:25 am ET.
