Fiat Chrysler's Net Profit Jumps on Improved European Performance

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV said Wednesday second-quarter net
profit rose 25% as the Italian-American car maker's performance
improved in Europe while holding steady in North America.
Net profit rose to €321 million ($353 million) from €257 million
in the same period last year. Revenue fell 2% to €27.89 billion
from €28.54 billion. Adjusted operating profit rose 16% to €1.63
billion while net financial debt fell to €5.47 billion.
The company nudged up its full-year financial guidance and now
sees revenue this year of more than €112 billion, an increase of €2
billion. Adjusted operating profit is seen at more than €2 billion,
up from a previous forecast of €1.9 billion.
