MELBOURNE, Australia--Financial services firm AMP Ltd. (AMP.AU) has shuffled its senior leadership team as part of a realignment of businesses it said is aimed at driving short term business performance and longer term growth.

Paul Sainsbury will lead a new division that brings together the customer, wealth management and product-solutions businesses, AMP said Tuesday.

Jack Regan, currently the managing director for New Zealand, will lead an expanded portfolio that adds responsibility for AMP's advice businesses.

Sally Bruce, who joined from National Australia Bank Ltd. (NAB.AU) as managing director of AMP Bank in August 2015, will become group executive of the bank division. Megan Beer, who joined AMP in February 2014 as director of the insurance business, becomes executive of insurance.

Among other moves, Craig Ryman will become executive for technology and operations and Chief Risk Officer Saskia Goedhart will join the leadership team, AMP said.

Three executives will leave the company, including insurance executive Pauline Blight-Johnston, advice and banking executive Rob Caprioli and operations executive Wendy Thorpe.

The leadership changes are effective Jan. 1, AMP said.
