Domestic Trend
In the south, long and medium grain milled rice prices steady. Parboiled
prices steady. Second heads and Brewers steady. Rice by-products: Rice Bran,
Millfeed and rice hulls steady.
In California, medium grain milled rice steady. Second heads steady and
Brewers 1.00 lower. Rice by-products: Rice Bran steady to 5.00 higher; Rice
hulls 5.00 to 10.00 lower.
CME Rough Rice settlements for Friday 17, May 17 closed .085 higher at 9.915;
Jly 17 closed .085 higher at 10.165. US dollar index on Friday settled at
100.31.
