-- Earlier Tuesday, McDonald's reported third-quarter same-store
sales rose 4.2% world-wide. Analysts polled by Consensus Metrix
were expecting same-stores sales to increase 3.7%. The company's
third-quarter profit fell 13% to $1.64 billion. It said earnings
were $2.10 a share, down from $2.32 a share, but still beating
estimates

-- Up 7.76% from 52 weeks ago (Oct. 24, 2017), when it closed at
