--Casino operator Genting Malaysia Bhd (4715.KU) filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney Co. (DIS) and 21st Century Fox Inc. (FOX), claiming they backed out of a contract related to a Fox-branded theme park, Reuters reported Monday.

--In the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, Genting said "seller's remorse" led Fox, with the help of Disney, to back out of a 2013 contract to provide intellectual property for the proposed theme park, which would have been an addition to the Resorts World Genting facility, according to the report.

--The report said Disney didn't immediately respond to a request for comment, and a spokesman for Twentieth Century Fox Film declined to comment.

--21st Century Fox shares common ownership with News Corp (NWS), owner of Dow Jones and this newswire.
