Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world’s largest
retail bookseller, today announced its first-ever celebration of
Tokyo Comic Con with exclusive products that customers can only get
at Barnes & Noble or Tokyo Comic Con from November 30 to
December 2, featuring hit characters including Batman and Sanrio’s
Aggretsuko. Barnes & Noble will also host the first Aggretsuko
pop-up shop on the East Coast at the Upper East Side Barnes &
Noble in New York City (86th St. and Lexington Ave), from November
30 through December 2. The pop-up shop will include special
products, meet & greet opportunities with Aggretsuko,
giveaways, while supplies last, and a Sanrio-designed set for photo
opportunities.
To celebrate Tokyo Comic Con, Barnes & Noble stores around
the country will have an exclusive Funko POP! Ultraman, a
Tokyo-themed board game, and select Aggretsuko items, while
supplies last. In addition, 150 stores will have exclusives only
available at Barnes & Noble and Tokyo Comic Con such as select
Kotobukiya Batman keychains, as well as a free poster by the
illustrator Kosuke Yanagisawa with purchase of any item from the
Tokyo Comic Con selection, while supplies last.
