Electrify America and Walmart Inc. (WMT) said more than 120 electric vehicle-charging stations are now operational at Walmart stores across the U.S., with more planned.

The companies are planning additional charging stations located at Walmart stores. Electrify America LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group of America.

Electrify America and Walmart said they expect to install additional charging stations at stores located in urban areas such as Washington D.C., and in 46 states, including California.
