LE BOURGET, France--Philippine budget carrier Cebu Pacific ordered 31 Airbus SE (AIR.FR) planes at the Paris Air Show on Tuesday.

Cebu ordered 16 of Airbus's A330-900 long-range planes, 10 of the new A321XLR model and five A320neo narrowbody planes.

The A330-900s will be fit with 460 seats, the airline's chief financial officer, Andrew Huang, told reporters. The first of the plane should be delivered in 2021, he said.

Cebu Pacific will get its first A321XLR in 2024. Airbus launched the plane on Monday and said it would first enter service 2023. The airline would aim to seat 240 passengers on the plane, the maximum possible.
