Airbus SE (AIR.FR) and Air Austral have signed an agreement for
the purchase of three A220 aircraft, the European plane maker said
Monday.
This firm order is part of Air Austral's plan to renew its
medium and short-haul fleet. The airline, which is based in
France's Reunion Island, will add the aircraft to its fleet from
the end of next year.
The A220 had an order book of more than 500 aircraft at the end
of September, Airbus said.
