Booking Holdings Inc.'s Chief Executive, Glenn Fogel, has tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, the company said Wednesday.

The online travel company said Mr. Fogel was tested on March 26 after showing mild symptoms but that he hadn't shown symptoms since March 28 and has continued to perform his duties as CEO.

The company said it has in place a succession plan, including temporary delegation of responsibilities if necessary.
