Philips Says Both Supervisory Board Chairman, Vice Chairwoman to Retire

Koninklijke Philips NV said Tuesday that Supervisory Board
Chairman Jeroen van der Veer will retire upon closing of the
company's 2021 annual general meeting, and that Feike Sijbesma has
been appointed as his successor.
Mr. Sijbesma has been a member and vice chairman of Philips's
supervisory board since last year, the Dutch medical-technology
company said. His appointment will be effective after the AGM on
May 6.
Supervisory Board Vice Chairwoman Christine Poon will also
retire upon closing of the company's 2021 AGM, and Paul Stoffels
has been appointed as new vice chairman, Philips said.
The company said Mr. Van der Veer and Mrs. Poon will retire
after their third consecutive terms on the supervisory board.
