BASF SE said Monday that it has agreed with Sandoz GmbH, a
subsidiary of Swiss pharmaceutical major Novartis AG, to make
investments at the company's Kundl/Schaftenau Campus in
Austria.
The German chemicals company didn't disclose financial details
for the agreement signed on April 26, which is aimed at bolstering
BASF's production footprint for enzymes and biotechnology
products.
The start of production is planned for 2024, BASF said.
