American Stock Exchange Lists Units of Alternative Asset Acquisition Corp.

NEW YORK, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R)
(Amex(R)) today lists the units of Alternative Asset Management
Acquisition Corp. under the ticker symbol AMV.U. The offering size
is 36M units at $10.00 per unit for gross proceeds of $360M
(excluding the underwriters' over-allotment option). One unit
equals one share of common stock and one warrant. Initially, the
units will be the only security trading. Citigroup Global Markets,
Inc. is lead underwriter on the IPO with Lazard Capital Markets as
co-manager. Alternative Asset Management Acquisition Corp. was
formed with the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock
exchange, asset acquisition or other similar business combination
with on or more businesses or assets in the alternative asset
