-- Mr. Del Vecchio founded Luxottica, owner of glasses brands like Ray-Ban and Oakley that in 2018 merged with French lens maker Essilor to become global eye-care giant EssilorLuxottica SA. He was also a shareholder of Assicurazioni Generali SpA.
