Credit Agricole SA said Wednesday that it has appointed two deputy chief executive officers as it pursues its strategic plan to 2025.

The French lender's board appointed Jerome Grivet, with effect from Sept. 1, and Olivier Gavalda, with effect from Nov. 1.

The company will now have three deputy CEOs. Mr. Grivet will be responsible for steering and control function, Mr. Gavalda will be responsible for development, and Xavier Musca will be responsible for major clients from Sept. 1.

In addition, the company's CEO Philippe Brassac will now directly supervise its asset-management subsidiary Amundi SA.

Credit Agricole is due to report second-quarter results on Thursday.
