                      Chairman Buys More Datamonitor Shares


Datamonitor plc is pleased to confirm that Bernard Cragg, Chairman, has acquired
a further 108,000 shares in the Company at 60p today.  This brings his holding
to 323,000 shares in the company.  This purchase follows the Trading Update
given on 20th June 2003.



Commenting, Mike Danson, Chief Executive Officer said:
