FTSE 100 Seen Opening Slightly Higher
0646 GMT - The FTSE 100 is expected to open slightly higher
after last week's losses on worries about weak economic growth and
monetary policy tightening by central banks. Spreadbetting firm IG
sees the index opening 17 points higher after closing Friday's
session 28 points lower. U.S. stock markets will be closed to
observe the Juneteenth federal holiday, which means trading volumes
are going to be low, AvaTrade analyst Naeem Aslam writes. There is
also little on the economic data calendar Monday. In company news,
Associated British Foods shares might be in focus after the food
processing and retail group posted an update.
