Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On October 5, 2022, Gregory J. Proffitt, President of Affinity Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) and Affinity Bank, informed Affinity Bank that he would be resigning, effective no later than November 18, 2022.  It is expected that the Boards of Directors of the Company and Affinity Bank will formally appoint Edward J. Cooney, the current Chief Executive Officer of the Company and the Bank, as President at the regular October board meeting.
