Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 9, 2021, Amerant Bancorp Inc. announced that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.06 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on or before January 15, 2022 to holders of record as of December 22, 2021. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
