On April 26, 2023, four indirect wholly owned subsidiaries of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. filed voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. The Company issued a press release the following day that provided additional details regarding this matter. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
