AMI Resources Inc.: RC Drilling Intersects 18 Metres @ 4.48 g/t and 16 Metres @ 4.58 g/t

AMI Resources (TSX VENTURE:AMU) is pleased to announce results from the recently
completed Reverse Circulation drilling program on the North Ashanti Gold Project
in Ghana, West Africa. Significant, near surface intersections have been
obtained from all three prospects drilled. These include:
07BPRC108 62 - 94m, 32m @ 1.41 g/t
07BPRC112 36 - 51m, 15m @ 1.96 g/t
07BPRC121 63 - 85m, 22m @ 1.56 g/t
07BPRC122 75 - 91m, 16m @ 4.58 g/t
07BPRC123 27 - 36m, 9m @ 5.79 g/t
07BPRC124 24 - 35m, 11m @ 2.23 g/t
07BPRC124 39 - 47m, 8m @ 3.10 g/t
07BPRC125 39 - 57m, 18m @ 4.48 g/t
(refer to tables one and two for all significant intersections)
The objective of this second phase of 2007 RC drilling was to infill gaps in
previous drill coverage of the Beposo Main Zone, Beposo South East Zone and
Anuoro North Zone to obtain sufficient information to calculate an indicated
resource. This has been achieved and the company expects to announce a revised
resource estimate for the North Ashanti Project before the end of the year.
Also, along-strike soil geochemical anomalism to both Beposo prospects were
drilled tested.
The Beposo South East Zone - Bedrock gold mineralisation has been extended for
350 metres to the southeast and remains open along strike. Broad, low grade
drill intersections, such as 07BPRC097 which recorded 13m @ 0.78 g/t, coincide
with a weak gold in soils anomaly. Possible southern extensions will be
investigated after the current wet season.
The Beposo Main Zone - Step out drilling encountered bedrock gold mineralisation
300 metres north of the current resource limit in hole BPRC093 which intersected
7m @ 1.08 g/t. The company intends to better define this mineralisation
extension by completing several trenches prior to the next round of drilling.
The Anuoro North Zone - Infill drilling on 100 metre spaced lines has confirmed
broad zones of sub vertical mineralisation within the Santreso intrusive. This
mineralisation has been traced northwards to the concession boundary with the
Konongo Mine but appears to thin-out about 100 metres from the licence boundary.
Though the average grades at Anuoro North are lower than those on the Beposo
Prospects the true widths, up to 30 metres, of mineralisation and the expected
non - refractory nature of the gold make Anuoro North suitable for heap leach
processing.

Notes:
1. All holes drilled by reverse circulation.
2. All assays reported are one metre intervals.
3. Assaying conducted by Transworld Laboratories, Tarkwa, Ghana using
industry standard 50g fire assay with AAS finish.
4. Reference standards, field duplicates and blank samples are routinely
inserted.
5. Quality control sampling comprises 10% of all samples submitted for
analysis.
6. Quality control sample results are monitored.
Beposo Main Zone:
Recent drill intersections have confirmed widths and grades from previous
drilling and extended bedrock gold mineralisation for 300 metres north of
current resource limit.

Beposo South East Zone:
Recent drilling has confirmed high grade depth extensions.

Anuoro North:
Recent drilling has confirmed the potential for large tonnage, low grade, non
refractory mineralisation:

Due to rig capacity restrictions all RC drilling this year has been confined to
the near surface, oxide portions of each prospect. The company has booked a
diamond core rig to commence drilling depth extensions to all three prospects in
the last quarter of 2007. The high grade intersections recorded on both Beposo
prospects are robust shoots which are likely to be consistent down plunge for
considerable depths. These will be targeted by diamond drilling.
The North Ashanti Gold Project straddles fifteen kilometres of the Ashanti Gold
Belt and lies directly south of the Konongo Mining Lease, approximately twenty
kilometres west of Newmont's Akyem deposit (17m Ozs) and fifty kilometres
northeast of AngloGold Ashanti's Obuasi Mine (40m Ozs).
