Item 8.01 – Other Events

 

As previously disclosed on a Form 8-K filed June 8, 2022, Applied Energetics, Inc. executed a Phase I Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) contract with the U.S. Army on June 2, 2022. On June 20, 2022, the company received approval from the government agency to issue a press release containing additional information pertaining to the agreement. The company is submitting this Current Report on Form 8-K to file the press release which is attached as an exhibit hereto.
