TOKYO--Japan Airlines Co. (9201.TO) said Monday that it will postpone the opening of its route linking Narita International Airport and Helsinki due to the ongoing operational suspension of Boeing Co.'s (BA) 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The airline, which is expected to release its earnings for the April-December period later in the day, initially planned to open the new route on Feb. 25 using the Dreamliner.

JAL said in a press release that it will announce the rescheduled start date for the route as soon as it finalizes its plans.
