RWE AG said Friday that its supervisory board approved the extension of the contract of its Chief Financial Officer Michael Mueller for another five years.

Mr. Mueller, whose contract extension will take effect as of Nov. 1 2023, has been the company's chief financial officer since May 2021, the German energy company said.

RWE also said it appointed Katja van Doren as chief human resources officer and labour director, effective Aug. 1 2023.

Ms. van Doren will succeed Zvezdana Seeger, whose contract is coming to an end, the company said.
