Following approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 20 December 2021 (the "AGM"), the Board confirms that the Company's name has changed to abrdn Latin American Income Fund Limited with effect from 11 January 2022.

Directorate Change

As published in the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 August 2021 and as part of the Board's orderly succession planning, the Board confirms that Mr Richard Prosser stepped down as Chairman of the Board on 20 December 2021, at the conclusion of the Company's AGM, and Mr Howard Myles has succeeded him as Chairman of the Company. Mr Prosser continues to act as a Non-Executive Director until the completion of a search for, and the appointment of, a Jersey-resident independent Non-Executive Director, at which time he will retire from the Board.
