GCM Resources Extends JV Deals With PowerChina, Shares Rise

Shares in GCM Resources PLC rose Friday after the company said
it has extended its joint-venture agreements with Power
Construction Corp. of China Ltd., also known as PowerChina, for two
years, to March 2024.
GCM has a project to build a coal mine in the northwest of
Bangladesh.
Shares in the London-listed company at 1511 GMT were up 8.7% at
5.65 pence.
