GLOBAL RESOURCES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC ("GRIT" or the "Company")

Sale of Investment and Financial Update

The Company is pleased to report that it has sold its entire investment in Siberian Goldfields Limited ("SGL") in an off-market transaction for a cash consideration of gross proceeds of GBP 488,352.

The proceeds from the sale will be paid into the recently approved CVA for the benefit of the creditors of the Company.

GRIT is currently working on finalising its overdue Annual audited results for the year ended 31 December 2019 and unaudited interim statement for the half year ended 30 June 2020, together with an additional fundraising.

The information contained within this announcement is deemed by the Company to constitute inside information as stipulated under the Market Abuse Regulations (EU) No. 596/2012 as it forms part of UK Domestic Law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 ("UK MAR").
