Exercise of Options, PDMR Dealing, Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights

Getech, a geoenergy and green hydrogen company, announces it was notified on 7 February 2022 that Stuart Paton, Non-Executive Director, exercised options ("Share Options") in respect of 900,000 ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each in the Company which were settled through a cashless exercise mechanism and resulted in the issue of 429,545 ordinary shares ("New Ordinary Shares").

Subsequently, Stuart Paton sold a portion of the New Ordinary Shares issued on the exercise of the Share Options to finance the cost of the exercise (where applicable) and associated tax liabilities.

Following the exercise of the Share Options, Stuart Paton has an interest in 194,969 ordinary shares, representing 0.29 per cent. of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company, and has no further share options outstanding.

Issue of Equity and Admission

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of the 429,545 New Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to take place on or around 8.00 a.m. on 13 April 2022.

Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 67,296,225 ordinary shares with voting rights. Getech does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. This figure of 67,296,225 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
