Net Asset Value at 30 June 2021

Starvest Plc (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM-listed specialist mining and resources investment business, announces a Net Asset Value update as at 30 June 2021.

Callum Baxter, Chairman and CEO, commented: "Global markets are rebalancing after a recent change to monetary policy by the United States, with the potential for several other major economies to follow suit. This has resulted in a downward movement in commodity prices which has influenced most share prices in the mining sector. We believe the trend to be temporary with a high likelihood for stronger commodity prices in the near term. Over the twelve months to 30 June 2021 our Portfolio Value and Net Asset Value per Share have increased more than 40% to GBP15.4m and 26.9 pence, respectively. The increase is largely the result of strong performances of our investee companies Greatland Gold plc and to a lesser extent, Ariana Resources plc. We look forward to further updates on progress from our investee companies in the coming weeks."
