Yourgene Health PLC said Thursday that Yourgene Genomic Services has been awarded a contract for the provision of laboratory capacity to support Covid-19 testing in the U.K.

The diagnostics group said the contract, which will run until March 31, 2022, has been awarded by the U.K.'s Department of Health and Social Care.

"Actual value for this contract will depend on the services purchased, with no committed spend at this moment in time, but we look forward to updating shareholders on the progress over time," Chief Executive Lyn Rees said.
