About 40 6th, 7th and 8th grade Honor students from Kennedy-Curry Middle School in the Dallas ISD, joined by school principal Dennis Murray, will learn about a variety of career opportunities in an expo-style field trip hosted by Dallas-based healthcare technology company Axxess. The theme of the event is: We Dream, We Build, We Empower.

WHY

Axxess and Kennedy-Curry Middle School believe the local business community can play an important role in exciting and motivating kids about their futures by sparking their imaginations at a young age. Axxess is committed to taking a leadership role in engaging the future generation to pursue a world of possibilities in educational and career opportunities.




Axxess will put on an expo-style event for the students, featuring careers in engineering (software development), marketing and sales, human resources, healthcare, customer service and administration.




This is part of an ongoing partnership established through the Dallas Regional Chamber's Principal for a Day program. Axxess has previously donated uniforms for 100 students at the school.
