Impala Platinum Hasn't Received Order To Sell Mimosa Stake

Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. (IMP.JO), a South African mining
firm, said Monday it hasn't received any official notification to
sell its stake in Mimosa Platinum (Pvt) Ltd. from the Government of
Zimbabwe.
MAIN FACTS:
-Impala was responding to statements made by the Zimbabwean
Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment, Mr
Saviour Kasukuwere to the media on Sunday.
-Kasukuwere reportedly said that in order to facilitate
indigenisation, Impala should dispose of its interest in Mimosa and
leave Aquarius Platinum Ltd. (AQP.LN) as the shareholder of
reference for funding and technical support.
-Shares at 1305 GMT up 136 cents, or 0.8%, at ZAR164.35 valuing
the company at ZAR102.96 billion.
