Spacelabs Healthcare Announces Patient Monitoring Order for Approximately $2.1 Million

(Nasdaq:OSIS), today announced its Monitoring Division has received
a $2.1 million order from a U.S.-based statewide hospital group.
The contract is for the complete range of integrated patient
monitoring systems utilizing both wired and wireless networks in
the critical care, neonatal, emergency and perioperative areas. The
integrated patient monitoring system will be installed at three
hospitals within the statewide-hospital group that is composed of
over twenty hospitals and clinics. Upon installation, care
providers within the three hospitals will be able to access patient
data and information from any location within these hospitals. It
is expected that Spacelabs will begin installation of the equipment
beginning in March 2006 and it should take approximately four to
six months to complete the installation process. Dave Tilley,
