Dollar Mixed Ahead Of U.S. Consumer Confidence

(RTTNews) - The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence for April will be released at 10:00 am ET Tuesday. The consensus for the index based on consumer's perceptions of current business and employment is 123.1, down from 125.6 last month.

Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback held steady against the franc, pound and the euro, it rose against the yen.

The greenback was worth 1.0897 against the euro, 1.2817 against the pound, 110.65 against the yen and 0.9944 against the franc as of 9:55 am ET.
