Cole Phoenix spreads ethereal
wings (literally) in this futuristic music video set in outer
space. Directed by Nicolas
Jacobi and Cole Phoenix
herself - the music video is set to make an impact and Cole Phoenix is set to be a star - shooting up
the charts and soaring through the networks with a song that's
flaming fantastic.
"UFO" is sassy, sexy and slick as the albino cornsnake that
climbs Cole as she brazenly sings from the bar table of this luma
tube lit space club. Her wings may be CGI but the snake is very
much the real deal and Phoenix handles both song and snake with
confidence and finesse as if she was born to perform and thrill.
The pop song has had comparisons to Madonna but Cole's signature
style puts it in a class of its own.
From songbird Phoenix herself, "UFO is an answer back to the
tracks pining over another's partner, like Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" or
Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend." This
song is telling the relationship invader - aka UFO - to back off,
you don't belong, this boy is mine! In the lyrics I reversed the
acronym UFO to make the declaration of love daringly explicit - and
besides, it's a cheeky catchy hook line!"
Cole plays the two stars of this high adrenaline feature - both
the angelic golden jean clad hero and the seductive villain Cleo, a
nod to Cleopatra. Cole proves herself a dynamic force to be
reckoned with in "UFO" - hot as coal images designed and
destined to burn the brain.
