"until things r actually in hand"
So never then. CMW has never landed anything other than investor suckerfish. CMW has never had any real significant business deal in hand except total bullshit $4B imaginary "financing", invisible compressors at the dock in Houston, and fake deals with bogus front companies CONveniently based at 900 Isom Rd. in SA.
4Ward Resources, Gambit, Tidelands, Silver Butte, Inc., Bentley Energy Corp., and Blanco Drilling, Inc., among others - collectively these all have exactly zero landed "deals" in hand other than conned investor CONvestments that all went to (or, for MRGE, are going to) zero.
68 years and never had even a single real commercial deal "in hand" - other than swindling gullible, unsophisticated, lowbrow suckervestors.
NONE. EVER.. In 68 years and counting.
Wake the fuck up. You've been stung by a lifelong grifter (just like his crooked daddy). No business success other than swindling dullard suckervestors ~OUTT of their thimblesfuls of shekels.
The only thing CMW has "in hand" is your munny! And he ain't gonna give it back. Ever. CONgratulations, you've been swindled by a lifelong professional grifter (you can buy the t-shirt for an additional $199.99 in cash).

Agreed, Mx has a very highly politicized energy sector and the new el presedente has some preconceived notions/ideology in energy and quest for Green/renewables. Why I argued yesterday that NG can be argued/considered as green in the rt circumstances and by others throughout da world.
The issues is the reality of Mx present situation which are for more complex than Amlo's in 2018 and renewables alone with not solve such issues.
Mx faces increases in energy demand due to pent up demand and nearshoring..., coupled with insufficient investment in the energy infrastructure.
"Mexico has the documented obligation to reach 45 BcF of storage by 2026."MM/birthday boy lol post # 41,362. Not that they will fulfill such obligation, to Shaj point.
Also, they have a significant dependency on USA NG. (Large capacity storage could help this as usa's strategic oil reserves does for this country.)
Amlo has promised an increase in oil production, but it has declined under his administration.
Pemex financial situation is bleak. Mx/amlo has scared investment by abruptly changing legislature and regulatory changes which has halted investment. Not to mention the ability of Mx/latin America to eventually come to terms with its potential as a manufacturing base to help USA decouple from China...
a strategy that can lift all boats in the region.
The energy infrastructure needs to be built to achieve such.
Therefore, imo for the above stated factors but not limited to such factors the reality is hitting da fan for our amigos south of da border.
ideology plays a role but so does pragmatic solutions.
Why i believe she will do both wind, solar for show to placate her political side/base but NG to solve da issues. Which can be argued as green and a bridge to da future. Brazil field underneath for NG, above for wind/solar. win win lol
time will tell!
Either way it does not mean we got sh t for contracts...
The premise of Mrgers of Mx needs is valid/correct, the conclusion of Mx carrying out solution to meet its needs with mrge contracts may not be valid/correct.
We shall see soon I would imagine but many have said such (including myself) for a couple years now.
Da waiting game continues until we see who gets what contracts is announced by da powers that be/mx.
Go Mrgeeeeee
P.s. let the circular firing squad begin!

A transition fuel is needed for another generation or so until fusion, hydrogen cells, better technology in general is developed. Imo, nothing is better than NG as it tops oil, coal, wood, pedaling a bike...
Of course, this does not mean MRGE has any deals forthcoming but in what other direction would Mx take? Either they maintain the status quo of doing nothing, waste billions... on a product that is truly not a viable option or NG is in play?

Natural gas is a fossil fuel, and its environmental impact is a topic of debate. Let’s explore both sides:
Environmental Benefits of Natural Gas:
Cleaner than Coal:
Compared to coal, natural gas produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants when burned for electricity generation or heating.
Efficient Combustion:
Natural gas power plants are more efficient than coal-fired plants, resulting in lower emissions per unit of energy produced.
Transition Fuel:
Some consider natural gas a “transitional fuel” because it can help countries shift away from coal while transitioning to renewable energy sources. It serves as a bridge until cleaner technologies become more widespread.
Criticism and Controversy:
Methane Emissions:
Natural gas extraction, transportation, and distribution can result in methane leaks. Methane is a potent greenhouse gas, and its impact on global warming is significant.
Fracking Concerns:
Hydraulic fracturing (fracking) used to extract natural gas has environmental risks, including water contamination and habitat disruption.
Long-Term Sustainability:
While natural gas may be cleaner than coal, it is still a fossil fuel. To achieve long-term sustainability, we need to transition to renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and hydroelectric power.
EU’s Classification:
The European Commission classifies natural gas as a “transitional fuel.” Investments in natural gas can be considered green if power plants emit less than 270g of CO2 equivalent per kilowatt-hour and use lower-carbon gases (e.g., green hydrogen) for combustion.
The EU’s taxonomy allows power plants burning natural gas to be considered generators of green energy, alongside nuclear power. However, this decision has sparked controversy, with some countries expressing concerns about its impact on emissions reduction goals.

My birthday is also this Sunday so that’s a good sign lol. But really, IMHO I think you’re overthinking it. Mexico has the documented obligation to reach 45 BcF of storage by 2026.
https://www.gob.mx/cenagas/acciones-y-programas/proyecto-de-almacenamiento-estrategico-156833
Considering it would take 2 years to complete it, they’d have to get started pretty soon. There’s pressure from many different groups, organizations, businesses, etc. to get it done. Also pressure from the state of Tamaulipas at this point. Is it possible Claudia just holds everything up? I guess so. Is it possible the project does happen, but we are not involved? Again, I guess so, but it would be very odd seeing that so much work has been done by Mirage concerning the Brasil field, which you yourself have admitted. There’s just no way to know until the companies involved in the Brasil storage project are announced.

LIFP Repair and Rebuild Update
The pilot-scale LIFP has been ~OUTT-of-service for over 8 months due to severe damage that resulted in its near-total destruction. The LIFP Projekt, LLC applied to the US Dept of Commerce and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service for a Federal guaranteed loan of $25,000 needed to repair and refurbish the pilot-scale LIFP.
To our great surprise, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act has provided the LIFP Projekt, LLC with a grant of $2.9 billion Dollars to move directly to a production-scale LIFP. The first tranche of this grant (for which we didn't apply) is expected to be disbursed in 2H2024 in the amount of $381,000,000 made payable to "Cash". We will provide ongoing updates thereafter from the new LIFP Projekt headquarters in Aspen, Colorado and Zug, Switzerland.
