FOUR $500,000 WINNING MAXMILLIONS TICKETS ALSO SOLD IN ONTARIO

TORONTO, May 30, 2015 /CNW/ - While the $50 million LOTTO MAX jackpot for Friday, May 29 was not won, there were several prize winning tickets sold in Ontario, including five winning MAXMILLIONS tickets. The five tickets worth $1 million each were sold in the following communities:

  • Chatham
  • Toronto
  • Orillia
  • Owen Sound area
  • Wasaga Beach

Four MAXMILLIONS tickets, each worth $500,000, were also sold in Ontario and shared with tickets sold elsewhere in Canada. Those tickets were sold in the following communities:

  • Newmarket
  • Hamilton
  • Two tickets sold in Toronto

In addition, two MAXMILLIONS tickets, worth $250,000 each, were sold in Ontario and shared with tickets sold elsewhere in Canada. Those tickets were sold in Toronto and Hamilton.

There were other prize winning tickets sold in Ontario. There was one, second prize ticket worth $319,957.60 sold in the Thunder Bay area.

Finally, two ENCORE tickets worth $100,000 were sold in Toronto and one ENCORE ticket also worth $100,000 was sold in Orillia.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2 billion in prizes, including 40 jackpot wins and 220 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.

For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.

Next week's LOTTO MAX jackpot will be an estimated $50 million plus 50 MAXMILLIONS prizes worth $1 million each for a total of $100 million in prizing. Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 for the draw that evening.
