Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday
Thus far Friday negotiated cash trade and demand was light to moderate with live
sales in Colorado steady compared to Thursday at 130.00. Trade was limited on light
demand all other feeding regions. The latest established market in the Southern
Plains was on Thursday with live sales at 133.00, with a few dressed sales in Kansas
at 210.00. In Nebraska on Thursday dressed sales sold at 206.00 with live sales for
the week ranging from 129.00-134.00. In the Western Cornbelt live sale sold from
129.50-130.00 with dressed sales mostly at 206.00.
