Airgas, Inc. (ARG) has retained Acquity Group (AQ) as a key partner to help it create a new online digital customer platform. Acquity Group will provide its e-channel expertise in the designing and implementation of new content-rich website for Airgas.
    
Airgas and Acquity Group will work together to incorporate web and e-commerce software platforms. Reconstruction of the website will help the customers of Airgas to track orders, place, research order history, and receive and pay invoices. The integration will provide comprehensive online information about the products and services of the company.

The new site includes tools which will manage the gases and hardgoods supply chain. It will also enable customers to interact and transact with Airgas at any time and across all channels, including mobile and social interactions. Airgas is in line with its commitment to offer best e-business services in the industry to its clients.

Acquity Group, one of the leading digital marketing companies, will assist Airgas to execute this strategy through its transformational digital services. The website facilitating process improvements, production efficiencies and safety will boost the performance and help Airgas in achieving the goals.

Radnor, Pa.-based Airgas, through its subsidiaries, distributes industrial, medical and specialty gases as a well as hardgoods in the U.S. The company also markets its products and services through e-business, catalog and telesales channels.

Airgas is focusing on implementing SAP across its distribution channel and currently about 70% of the businesses are running on SAP. The company remains confident that SAP implementation will enable it to realize its full economic benefits and help it serve its customers better.
